Families and family offices continually navigate the balance between the value benefits provide in attracting and retaining talent and the costs involved. Botoff Consulting developed this survey to present an overview of current practices across estate and household staff and to provide a broad spectrum of benefits and perquisites. We are pleased to share our inaugural view in the form of a robust assessment of what typical practices are in the estate and household management space to help families and family offices assess where there may be gaps with their offerings.
The 2026 Estate & Household Staff Benefit Practices Survey was conducted from March 31, 2026 through May 5, 2026. Participation was by invitation only, with responses from 410 total participants; 95 reporting data on benefit practices and 315 reporting data on benefit prevalence.
Data was collected and analyzed by Botoff Consulting and is presented and reported only in aggregate.
