Ron Botoff is a Principal Consultant at Botoff Consulting, with more than two decades of leadership experience in finance, investor relations, and corporate strategy. Since joining the firm in 2019, he has applied his business acumen and analytical rigor to support ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and private enterprises in crafting forward-looking compensation strategies that support organizational health and continuity.
Ron’s strategic insight and financial leadership have played a key role in shaping Botoff Consulting’s data-driven approach and trusted advisory services. His work contributed to the firm being ranked third on Family Capital’s list of “The World’s Top 50 Family Enterprise Advisors” in 2023. In 2024, Botoff Consulting was also “Highly Commended” in the Family Office Management Consultancy category by the Family Wealth Report—recognition that reflects the firm’s commitment to excellence and its growing influence in the global family enterprise space.
Before Botoff Consulting, Ron held senior roles in investor relations and government affairs at Fortune 500 companies, where he advised executive leadership and boards on high-impact financial communications and long-term strategic positioning. His work earned him industry recognition, including selection to Institutional Investor’s “All-America Executive Team” in both 2017 and 2019.
At Botoff, Ron plays a key role in the firm’s benchmarking and plan design engagements, contributing to the development of its proprietary compensation database. Clients benefit from his cross-disciplinary perspective, combining strategic and financial expertise with a deep understanding of family governance and talent dynamics.
Ron earned his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University and holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida.
